If you are looking for Johny Caterers, we are located at No.916 on Davis Road. We are right next to Alphonsus School, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. It’s a bit of a tight spot with the school traffic, but we manage. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. Most of our work involves cooking for people who live around Thomas Post. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights. The kitchen gets really hot in the afternoons, but that’s part of the job. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a sales team. It is usually just one of us answering the phone while trying to stir a pot at the same time. We focus on making food that tastes right, nothing too complicated. Sometimes we have to change the menu last minute if we can't find the right ingredients at the market. It’s a bit unpredictable sometimes, but we’ve learned to deal with it over the years. The staff here are like family, we’ve worked together for a long time. We do a lot of small church events and family gatherings in the neighborhood. It’s a simple setup we have here on Davis Road. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We just cook the food and deliver it to whoever ordered it. That’s really all there is to our story, just keeping the stoves going every day and trying to stay out of the way of the school buses.
