Jhankar Fancy Gift Centre

The Jhankar Fancy Gift Centre is located in the Bdk Complex on Bb Road in Yelahanka. It’s a local shop where we sell all kinds of fancy items and gifts. I spend my days surrounded by colorful wrapping paper, ribbons, and shelves of glassware and toys. Yelahanka is a growing area, but Bb Road still has that local feel to it. The shop isn’t very big, so I have to be careful about where I put new things. I usually spend the morning rearranging the display windows to show off whatever new items we’ve received. The Bdk Complex has several other shops, so there’s a steady stream of people walking past. Some just peek in, while others come in looking for something specific like a wedding gift or a birthday card. I have an old fan that rattles a bit, but it keeps the air moving. My counter is usually cluttered with pens, tape, and my ledger. I don't use any fancy software to keep track of sales; I just remember what’s on the shelves. Sometimes my family comes in to help during the holidays when it gets really busy. It’s a nice way to spend the day, talking to neighbors and helping them find a little something to take home. The street outside can be quite noisy with the buses, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of the fan and the occasional customer.
