Jeevan Bhima Seva Kendra

Our place is located at 376 in the Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar area, specifically within the Khilaji Housing Society. We are in the Devaprem Building on the 1st Block of the 90 Feet Road. It’s right next to the Bank of India. That is usually how people find us when they get lost. Tilak Nagar is a lively neighborhood. There’s always something happening outside the door. Jeevan Bhima Seva Kendra isn't a massive operation. It's just a local spot where we help out the people who live nearby. We’ve got a couple of desks and some benches for people to wait on. It gets crowded on Monday mornings. We try to get through everyone as fast as we can though. The 90 Feet Road is always buzzing with traffic. Sometimes it’s hard to hear inside when the buses go by. We’ve been here in this building for quite some time now and the neighbors are all friendly. We don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people just know us because they walk past every day. Or they heard about us from a friend. It’s a practical setup and we like being part of the community here. The office has that old-school feel to it. We don't see any reason to change it. We just open up the shutters every morning and get to work.
