Jashn Menu

We are Jashn Menu. Our place is at number 82 on Lakshmana Mudaliar Street. That’s in the RMV 2nd Stage area, near the 2nd Cross. It’s also close to Commercial Street which everyone knows. It’s a tight spot. The street is narrow. Getting deliveries in can be a headache sometimes. We’ve been here for a couple of years. The name Jashn Menu is on the front, though the paint is peeling a little bit now. Inside, it’s just a regular workspace. We handle a lot of orders. It gets hectic around lunchtime. People come in and out. We aren't trying to be a fancy boutique. We just focus on the food and the lists. The neighborhood is loud. You can hear the scooters and the shouting from the main road. We keep the fans running all day because it gets warm. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a big marketing budget. We just talk to the customers who walk through the door. Some of them have been coming since we opened. We like the location even if the traffic is bad. It feels like the heart of the city. We’re just glad to be working. The front door sticks in the humid weather. You have to give it a good push to get inside. We have a small table for the accounts. It’s piled high with paper. That’s how we keep track of everything.
