Janodaya Micro Credit Programme

Janodaya Micro Credit Programme operates out of Bangalore. Our office is set up with D O Ramakrishna in the 560 026 area of Karnataka. It’s a pretty standard place where we deal with micro credit and help folks out with their financial needs in a small-scale way. We don't have any of those glass buildings or fancy lobbies like the big banks do. We just have a plain office where people can come in and talk to us. Bangalore is a big, fast city, but in our little corner, things feel a bit more personal. We spend a lot of time looking over numbers and talking to people from the community. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We aren't here to make big promises or use complicated language. We just explain how things work and try to be helpful to those who come through our doors. The area around 560 026 is where we spend most of our time, and we’ve gotten to know the people around here quite well. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but for the locals, we are right where they need us. We keep our overhead low and our focus on the work itself. There’s no need for anything extra or fancy when you’re just trying to help people manage their credits and small loans. We’re just regular folks doing a job in Bangalore, trying to stay organized and get through the paperwork every day.
