Jana Jyothi Education Trust

Our main office is over at 57 3rd A Cross, right near the 3rd A Main in Someshwara Nagar. We are part of the Chikkabommasandra area, just by the Gkvk Post in Yelahanka New Town. It’s a relatively quiet corner of Bangalore compared to the main busy roads. We’ve been running this education trust for a good while now, focusing on helping local kids get through their schooling. The building itself is an old house we converted. It still feels like a regular home, to be honest. There are always stacks of books piled up in the corners and the sound of children playing nearby. We don’t have a marketing team or any big budget for fancy office decor. We just have a few simple desks and some plastic chairs for parents who come to talk to us about their children. Most of the people working here are just volunteers or locals who really care about the neighborhood. It gets very busy during the start of the school year when everyone is trying to figure out books, fees, and uniforms. We spend a lot of our time on the old landline or writing out letters by hand. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We drink way too much coffee and just try to keep things moving forward. The garden out front is a bit overgrown with weeds, but we kind of like it that way. It’s a peaceful place to work on something important.
