Jamal Mir

My office is in the Shah Sultan Complex on Cunningham Road in Vasanth Nagar. It is a well-known spot in this part of the city, so it is not too hard to find if you are looking for it. The complex itself has a lot of history, and you can see that in the way the building was made. I have been based here for several years now. It is a good location because it is central, though parking can be a real headache on some days when everyone is out. Inside, the space is filled with books, old files, and some furniture I have picked up over the years. It is not one of those modern glass offices you see in the magazines these days. It feels more lived-in and comfortable for me. I spend most of my day meeting people or working through stacks of paperwork on my desk. There is always a hum of activity in the hallway outside my door. Sometimes I leave the door open just to get a bit of a breeze through the room. My name is on the door, but most people just walk right in if they see me sitting there. I do not have a big staff, just a couple of people who have been working with me for a long time. We know how each other works, so things go pretty smoothly most of the time. We are not looking to expand into some giant company and I like it that way.
