Jai Durga Travels

Jai Durga Travels is located up on the 1st floor of a building in Vijaya Nagar. The address is 1 Vijaya Nagar, 7th Main Road, but we are right on the 26th Cross which connects to Amblipura Main Road. If you are coming down Sarjapura Road, you just need to look for the Vodafone Store because we are very close to it. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s a decent space. We have maps and schedules scattered around because that’s just the nature of the travel business. It can get a bit hectic when several people are asking about routes at the same time, but we manage. The 1st floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is always packed with cars and bikes. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking on bookings throughout the day. It’s not a fancy lounge or anything, just some chairs and desks where we get things sorted. The area around Amblipura has changed so much with all the new shops, but we’ve stuck to our spot. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window for a bit. It’s a real place with real people trying to help others get their travel plans fixed. We keep things pretty informal around here because that’s how we like to work. The tea guy comes by at four and that is our favorite part of the day.
