J. K. White Cement Works

J. K. White Cement Works is located at 3, Mill Officer Colony. We are right on Ashram Road, which everyone knows is one of the busiest spots you can be in. Being right opposite the Times of India building helps people find us, otherwise, we might get lost in all the traffic and noise. Our office is a practical place. It’s got everything we need to handle the daily tasks, but it isn't something you would call stylish. We have been here for a long time, and the walls probably show it. There is a lot of coming and going throughout the day. We talk to a lot of people, mostly about cement and schedules. It gets a bit dusty around here, which is just part of the job when you deal with the things we do. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy meetings. It is mostly just us sitting around the desks, answering the phone, and making sure the ledgers are right. Some of the guys have been working here since the beginning. We know the neighborhood well and we’ve seen how much Ashram Road has changed over the years. We just keep doing what we do every day. There aren't any big secrets to how we run things. We open the doors in the morning and we stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple way to live and work.
