J C B Spices

Our shop is situated at 3/24, Five Corner, in the Vijayan Nagar area. It is a very busy junction, so there is always the sound of horns and people moving about. We focus on spices, the basic kinds that everyone uses for their cooking at home. We have big piles of turmeric, coriander, and other common spice powders. The shop itself is quite small and the walls are just painted a plain color. We do not think we need much decoration when the spices themselves are so bright and colorful. It can get a bit tight inside if more than two or three people come in at the same time. We usually keep a small radio playing to help mask some of the traffic noise from the street. The mornings are the best time here because it is cooler and the spice smells feel a bit fresher. We have been at this corner for quite a few years now. Sometimes we just stand by the door and watch the world go by when things are a bit slow. We do not have a fancy logo or a big sign, just our name on a simple board above the door. We pack everything into plain bags as the customers ask for them. It is just a local way of doing things. We are a modest shop but we do our part for the neighborhood.
