Internet Center

Our place is at Hno 2 115 in Adoni, which is where D Manjunath, the son of Doddanna Goud, runs things. It’s a basic setup for an internet center, with a row of computers that we try to keep running smoothly despite the heat we get around here. People come in mostly to use the web for stuff they can’t do on their phones, or to get some papers printed out for school or government work. The chairs aren't the most comfortable things in the world, but they do the job for an hour or so. We spend a lot of time making sure the cables don't get tangled under the desks and that the printer has enough ink for the morning rush. Adoni can be a quiet place sometimes, but our center usually has a bit of a hum from the cooling fans on the machines. We keep the door open to let some air in, though it brings in a bit of dust from the street now and then. There isn't any fancy decor on the walls, just a few old calendars and maybe a list of prices for browsing time. We are just here most days from the morning until the evening, helping whoever needs to get online or fix a document. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day, and we know most of the regulars who stop by.
