We are based at 808 Ramnath Krupa, which is located in the Syndicate Bank Staff Colony in Nagarbhavi. It is quite close to the Mudal Palya Circle in the Vijayanagar area of Bangalore. This office for Infosys Technologies Ltd is not in one of those huge, anonymous tech parks. It is more of a local neighborhood setting. Being in a staff colony means it is relatively quiet and safe, which we all appreciate. The building itself is called Ramnath Krupa, and it has served us well over the years. We have our computers and all our technical gear spread out across the different rooms. It is a functional space, nothing fancy at all. Sometimes we have to hunt for a working pen or a spare chair when we have a meeting, but we get by. The Mudal Palya Circle is the main landmark we use to tell people how to find our building. Traffic around Vijayanagar can be a real headache during the evening rush hour, but once you get inside the colony, it feels like a different world. We have a small kitchen where we make tea and talk about our weekends. It feels more like a small family business than a giant corporation in here. We do not have polished marble floors or any of that. It is just paint, tiles, and a lot of hard work getting done on our screens. It is an honest place to be.
