Over on Nehru Road at 92, near the pipeline in Kuvempu Nagar, is where Industrial Control & Appliances is located. It’s a long address, but once you find the big landmark nearby, it’s easy enough to spot us. We work with various controls and appliances, mostly for industrial use, so our shop is filled with things that look complicated to most people. We have a lot of technical manuals sitting around and testers on the benches. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a shiny display case. Instead, it’s more of a workshop vibe where things are being tested or taken apart. We’ve been in Vijaya Nagar for quite some time now and we like the neighborhood. The mornings are usually the busiest when we are sorting out the tasks for the day. Sometimes we have to go out to site visits, so the shop might be locked up for an hour or two in the afternoon. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing budget. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a while and people know our name. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with all the wires and spare parts, but there’s a system to it. We just focus on the technical side of things and let the work speak for itself. It’s a small, local operation that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
