Our office is located at 17 601 in the Fam Housing Society, which is in Sector 11 of Kopar Khairne. It’s a residential area of Navi Mumbai, so the vibe is a bit different from the busy commercial zones. Being inside a society means we are right there where people live. The office itself is quite basic. We have a few desks for the staff and a small area for people to wait. It isn’t a massive space, but it serves its purpose for the daily banking tasks we have to do. We spend most of our time dealing with deposits, withdrawals, and the endless stream of forms that need to be filled out. The computers we use aren't the newest, but they work well enough for what we need. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the busy hours in the morning. We don’t have a big corporate structure here; it’s just a handful of us working together to keep the branch running. We often talk about the local happenings or what’s for lunch while we handle the paperwork. It feels more like a small neighborhood shop than a big bank. We try to be direct and honest with anyone who comes through the door. Once the work is done and the books are closed for the day, we just head out and catch our buses or trains home.
