Indo World Kitchen

We are over at Sri Nagar 913, operating Indo World Kitchen out of a space that feels more like a workshop than a store. There are pots, pans, and various kitchen components laying around on almost every surface. It is a bit of a jumble and we are always looking for more storage space. The building is tucked away and doesn't get a whole lot of foot traffic, which is fine by us because we stay busy with our regular tasks. We spend a lot of our time looking at samples and checking the finish on different metal parts. It can get pretty greasy and dusty, so we aren't usually wearing anything fancy. The back room is where most of the actual work happens, and it can get quite cramped when a new shipment arrives. We have a small table where we drink tea and talk about the day's plan. There isn't a whole lot of formality here; we just get in and start working on whatever is most urgent. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise when we're moving heavy crates, but we try to keep it down. It is a practical setup and we've made it work for us for years. Finding anything in here requires knowing exactly which pile to look under, but we usually manage to stay on top of things. It's a lot of manual work but we enjoy the pace of it all.
