Indian Air Force

Our office is on the ground floor of Vinayka Residency, which is located in Bhuveneshwari Nagar in Bangalore. It is right on the 1st Main and 4th Cross, so it is easy enough to find if you know the area. Being in a residential building means we have neighbors living right above us. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially with the motorcycles parked out front. We have made it work, though. Inside, it is a pretty basic setup for the Indian Air Force staff stationed here. We have our desks pushed together and a lot of filing cabinets along the walls. The lighting is not the best, but we have enough windows to let in some breeze. Bangalore weather is usually on our side, which is a plus. We do not have a big sign outside, just the unit details. Most days are spent on the computer or handling various bits of logistics. It gets a bit noisy when the local school lets out or when someone is moving house nearby. We usually just put our heads down and get on with it. There is a small shop around the corner where we get our snacks. It is not a glamorous spot, but it is where we get the job done. We have grown fond of the local street dogs that hang out by the gate. It is just a regular office in a busy part of town where we work.
