India First Life Insurance Co Ltd is located at 27/7 Byrasandra Market Yard. We are on the second floor of the Professional Court building. It is an interesting spot because the market yard is always full of activity and noise, but once you get up to the second floor, things settle down a bit. The office is mostly desks and filing cabinets filled with insurance papers. It is a very functional space, meant for getting through the daily tasks. We don't have any fancy furniture or bright colors on the walls. It is just a standard office where we spend our hours talking to people about their policies and checking over documents. Sometimes the smell from the market drifts up, reminding us exactly where we are in Byrasandra. The Professional Court building is a sturdy place, though the stairs can be a bit of a workout if the lift isn't working right. We’ve got a small group of people working here and we all know each other’s routines by now. It is a steady kind of job in a busy part of the city. We don't try to make the place look like something it isn't. It's just an honest insurance office where we do the work that needs doing every single day. We keep the lights on late sometimes when the month-end paperwork piles up, but mostly we stick to our regular hours and head home.
