Our place is over in JP Nagar 3rd Phase, right on the 5th Main. We have been working out of this first-floor space for a good while now. It’s a bit of a climb with the grocery bags, but we make it work. Most of our time is spent in the kitchen area, prepping for whatever orders came in the day before. We aren't some big corporate catering firm with a fleet of trucks. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers who know their way around a stove. The 11th Cross gets a bit busy during the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early if we can. We do a lot of traditional dishes because that’s what people around here usually want for their family functions. It gets really humid in the kitchen when the big pots are boiling, especially during the summer months. We don't spend much time on social media or advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us going. If someone likes the food at a neighbor's house, they find us eventually. Our desks are covered in notebooks with hand-written menus and old receipts. It’s not the most organized system, but we never miss an order. We just keep cooking and making sure the spice levels are right. Every day is different depending on what people ask for, which keeps things interesting for us in the kitchen as we prepare the next meal.
