Independent Consultant

My office is located in the Krishna Lodge Building, right at number 34 on Infantry Road. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character, and being in the heart of Bangalore means everything is close by. I work as an independent consultant from room 11. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for me to get my head down and work. Karnataka is a busy state, and this part of 560 001 is always buzzing with people and cars. Sometimes I look out the window and just watch the street for a minute before getting back to my spreadsheets. I don't have a staff or a marketing team. If you call, I’m the one who picks up. If there’s an email, I’m the one who writes back. It keeps things simple and prevents mistakes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve seen a lot of hard work over the years. I like being independent because I can make my own decisions about how to help people. There’s no corporate manual telling me what to do. I just use common sense and the experience I’ve picked up over time. It’s a practical way to run things. Most days are long, but I enjoy the quiet satisfaction of finishing a project. It’s a good spot to be, right here on Infantry Road, amongst all the history of the city.
