Independent Consultant

I work out of a place at 146 in the 1st Cross of Karnataka Layout, which is in the Basaweswaranagar area of Bangalore. Being an independent consultant, I don’t need a huge office space. I just use a room in this house where I can keep my laptop and my documents organized. The layout is mostly residential, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads of Bangalore. I like that I can hear the birds in the morning instead of just traffic. My day usually starts with a walk around the block before I sit down at my desk. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with a lobby or a sign. It’s just a quiet spot where I can focus on my tasks. I handle various types of consulting work depending on what comes my way. I’ve been in this part of the city for a long time, so I’m very comfortable here. The house is simple and doesn’t have much in the way of modern decor, but it’s a good place to get work done. I don’t have a big staff to help me out, so I do all the typing and the phone calls myself. Sometimes it gets a bit lonely, but I prefer the independence. Basaweswaranagar is a nice neighborhood with plenty of small shops nearby if I need anything. It’s a very ordinary life and a very ordinary way of working, just staying busy and doing my job. That is basically how it goes here every day of the week.
