Independent Consultant

My workspace is at 607 on 62nd Cross in the 5th Block of Rajajinagar. It’s a nice, settled part of Bangalore. I work as an independent consultant here, mostly just by myself. The house is a bit old, but it stays cool enough during the day. I have a small room set aside for my computer and all the folders I’ve collected over the years. It is not a professional office park or anything like that. It’s just a regular street where kids play and people walk their dogs. I like the peace of Rajajinagar compared to the more hectic parts of the city. I usually start my day quite early before the sun gets too hot. Most of my work involves sitting and thinking or typing out reports. I don’t have a team or a manager watching over me, so I have to be pretty disciplined. Sometimes I go down to the local bakery for a puff and some coffee in the afternoon. It’s a simple routine. The 62nd Cross is usually quiet, though you get the occasional delivery bike zooming past. I’ve been here long enough that I know most of the people on the block. It’s a good place to be if you just want to get your work done without a lot of distractions. I don't need much more than a quiet corner and a decent internet connection to keep things running. It is a honest way to spend my time.
