Imer Study Centre

Imer Study Centre is based in Mahalakshmipuram Layout, over in the 560086 area of Bangalore. We are lucky to be situated near the Iscon Temple, which is such a huge landmark that everyone knows where we are. The area is quite peaceful compared to some of the busier parts of the city. We have a small facility here with a few rooms for teaching. It’s nothing fancy, just a place with basic furniture and some whiteboards. We mostly see students from the surrounding houses in Mahalakshmipuram. They come in for a couple of hours every evening to work on their subjects. We don't use any complicated teaching methods or expensive software. It’s just us and the books. The atmosphere is quite casual. Sometimes we talk about things other than schoolwork just to give the kids a break. The building we are in is older, so it has its quirks, but it’s a comfortable enough space for studying. Being near the Iscon Temple means there’s always a bit of a spiritual vibe around, and the traffic isn't too bad most of the time. We don’t do any big promotions or put up huge billboards. People just find us by word of mouth or by seeing our small sign. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to keep going just as we are, helping one student at a time with their lessons. It works for the community here.
