Our office is located at 148 on the first floor along Seethamma Road. It’s right on Nehru Street at the 4th Cross in Ramaswamy Palayam. If you’re coming from the main part of Bangalore, it can take a bit of time to navigate the turns to get here. The area has a lot of residential houses mixed in with small businesses like ours. You can usually see laundry hanging from balconies and hear children playing in the street nearby. Being on the first floor gives us a decent view of the street, though mostly we just see the tops of the trees and the power lines. The office isn't very big, so we all sit pretty close to each other. It gets a bit noisy when the traffic picks up on Nehru Street, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of horns and engines. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for what we do, nothing too elaborate. The building is painted a light color that’s faded over the years. We usually bring our own lunch or go to one of the small shops around the corner. It’s a quiet enough place to get things done without too many distractions. We’ve set up some basic storage for all our papers and equipment. It’s just a normal workplace where we show up, do the job, and then head back out into the Bangalore evening. We’ve been here for a while and the neighborhood feels familiar to us now.
