Ics

We sit here at 11th Main in M L Puram. The West of Chord Road traffic is always loud. It’s the second stage of the layout. Most days we just get in, deal with the files, and look out the window at the 11th B Cross intersection. It isn’t a fancy place. Just a regular office space with some desks and computers. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that's just how things go here in Bangalore. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Neighbors know us. We see the same people walking their dogs or going to the shops nearby every single morning. It’s a bit dusty because of the road work usually happening somewhere close by. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and we're there working. It’s practical. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking on the phone. By the time it’s evening, the street lights come on and the traffic gets even worse, so we try to finish up and head home before it gets too jammed. It’s just a normal workplace where people show up and do what they have to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes we grab tea from the small stall down the road. It keeps us going through the afternoon slump. That’s basically our daily life here at Ics. It’s not a corporate skyscraper, just a building in a busy part of town where we get things done.
