Our office is located at C 1194 in the LIG Flats of East of Loni Road. We are quite close to the Mother Dairy in Shahdara, which is a big landmark in this part of Delhi. Being in an LIG flat means the space is a bit tight, but we make it work for us. We have filled the rooms with desks and filing cabinets, leaving just enough space to walk around. The area is always buzzing with activity. You can hear the sounds of the local market and the traffic from Loni Road almost all day long. In the summer, the Delhi heat really hits this building, so we have the coolers running full blast. We spend most of our time here dealing with the day-to-day operations. It is not a shiny corporate building with glass walls. Instead, it is a lived-in space with some marks on the walls and a floor that has seen a lot of footsteps. We know the milkman and the local shopkeepers nearby quite well. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit during a meeting. It is a bit chaotic at times, but we are used to the rhythm of Shahdara. We just get on with our tasks and try to keep things organized despite the limited space. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place where we feel at home while we work.
