Our Ibm India office is at 52 5 Cross Street in Koramangala. This is in Bangalore, and it’s a pretty well-known part of town. 5th Cross is usually busy with people and cars. We have been in this neighborhood for a good while. Koramangala has a lot of energy, and we are right in the middle of it. The office is nothing special to look at from the outside. It’s a practical building where we have a few rooms. We spend most of our time at our desks. There is a small window in the back that looks out onto some trees, which is nice when things get stressful. We don’t go in for fancy decorations. We have the usual office stuff—cluttered desks, a few calendars on the wall, and some half-empty water bottles. Most of us eat lunch at our desks or go to one of the small shops around the corner. The traffic in Bangalore is always a topic of conversation here. We try to get in early to beat the worst of it. It’s a straightforward place to work. We don’t have any big corporate slogans on the walls. It’s just us, some computers, and the work that needs to be done every day. We like the location because everything is close by, even if the street gets a bit noisy sometimes. It is just where we do our thing.
