Our office is at Ga Swastik Diamond on 1st Main in Vidya Nagar. We are part of Pai Layout, which is just off Old Madras Road in Bangalore 16. It’s a ground floor spot, so it’s easy for people to find us without messing with elevators. The building is called Swastik Diamond and it’s a pretty recognizable landmark in this little pocket of Vidya Nagar. Inside, it’s a very basic setup for Ibm India Pvt Ltd. We’ve got some desks pushed against the walls and plenty of wires running along the floor for the computers. It’s not the most stylish place, but it works for what we do every day. The neighborhood is a mix of houses and small businesses. Sometimes the traffic on Old Madras Road gets so loud you can hear it from here, but mostly it’s just the usual background hum. The fluorescent light in the back flickers sometimes. We keep saying we'll fix it, but then we get busy and forget until it starts up again. There's a small rack where we keep our bags and coats. Most of us bring our own lunch and eat at our desks while scrolling through our phones. The internet goes out for a minute every time there's a big storm, but it usually comes right back. It's just a regular workplace where people do their jobs and try to get along. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just handling the paperwork.
