Down in Koramangala 1st Block, specifically at House 42 12 Jakkasandra, you will find our local Ibm India Pvt Ltd office. This part of Bengaluru is quite different from the rest of the city, with a mix of old houses and new businesses popping up everywhere. We are located in one of those houses that was converted into an office space. It gives the place a bit of a homey feel, though it’s definitely a workplace. We have desks shoved into corners and cables running along the floorboards. It isn't the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. The kitchen area is where we usually gather to discuss projects over some snacks. We don’t have a marketing department here; we just focus on the technical side of things and making sure our systems are working. Sometimes the neighbors’ dogs bark during our calls, but that is just part of being in Jakkasandra. We have a small yard out front where we park a few bikes. It’s a bit tight, but it works. We’ve been in this building for several years now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. It’s a real place with real people doing their best to keep everything moving forward without any unnecessary drama.
