Hsbc

Our place is out near Jangalya Palya Gate, specifically in Mantapa, which is part of Anekal Taluka on the outskirts of Bangalore. It is quite a distance from the city center, so it is a lot quieter here, though the roads can be quite dusty. We are based in a simple building near Jigini Hubli. At Hsbc, we don't have a fancy office with glass walls or air conditioning in every room. We just have a practical space where we can focus on our work. The team is made up of people from the nearby areas. We know the local landscape and the challenges of working outside the main city. Sometimes the power goes out, or the water is a bit scarce, but we just deal with it and move on. We don't have any corporate slogans or a list of values on the wall. We just believe in doing a day’s work for a day’s pay. We spend a lot of time talking to people in the area and making sure things are running smoothly. Lunch is usually a simple affair where we sit together and talk about local things. We don't have a marketing department, so we don't use big words to describe what we do. We are just a group of hardworking people in a rural part of Bangalore. It is a basic setup, but it suits our way of doing things. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
