You can find us at D 107 Manish Classic on Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore. We focus on equity research. It sounds more complicated than it is. Mostly, we spend our time looking at market trends and writing up what we see. Bangalore is a big city for this kind of thing, and Bannerghatta Road is always crowded with traffic, but our office is a bit of a retreat from all that noise. We are just a team of people who like looking at numbers and trying to understand how businesses are doing. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just show up, do our research, and provide the information that is needed. The building, Manish Classic, is a decent place to work from. We have our routines, our coffee breaks, and our meetings where we talk about the latest updates in the market. It is honest work and we try to be as thorough as we can. There isn't much more to it. We are not trying to sell anything or convince people of anything. We just put the data together. Being in India, especially a hub like Bangalore, keeps us busy. We like the pace here even if the commute can be a bit of a headache sometimes. That is basically who we are at Hsbc Equity Research, just local researchers doing our bit.
