About Home Made Natural Spices – Food & Beverages in Bengaluru
Home Made Natural Spices. Our place is at 110, 1Cross, in the Rayal Counts Layout area. It’s near Barappamma Agargarm. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice for us when we are working. We handle spices that are done in a home style. It’s not like those big brands you see in the supermarket aisles. We do things by hand mostly. Grinding, mixing, and packing all happens right here in our space. It started because we wanted to have spices that actually tasted like they were supposed to. Now, it has turned into a full-time job for us. The layout is usually quiet, so we don't get a lot of random people walking in, mostly just folks who specifically look for us. We have a few grinders that make a lot of noise, so we try to do the heavy work during the middle of the day so we don't bother anyone. The smell of roasted cumin and coriander is always around. Sometimes our clothes smell like spices even after we go home for the evening. We don't have a big warehouse, just a couple of rooms where we keep everything. We check the bags ourselves to make sure there are no stones or bad bits. It’s slow work, but that’s the only way we know how to do it properly. We don't use any chemicals. It’s just the spice and nothing else. My kids sometimes help with the labeling when they aren't at school.
