Holy Saint Public School

If you find yourself on 5th Cross in Jayanagar 7th Block, you will see our school at number 423. It is a familiar spot for people living in this part of Bangalore. Holy Saint Public School isn't a massive complex, but we make good use of the space we have. The street outside can get quite tight when parents are dropping off their kids in the morning. We try to manage the traffic as best as we can. Inside, the rooms are filled with the sounds of kids reciting their lessons or the scratching of pens on paper. We have some trees around the property that give a bit of shade, which is nice during the hotter months. The office is right near the entrance, and it is usually full of files and ledgers. We don't use a lot of fancy technology; we mostly stick to the basics of teaching and learning. The teachers have their own rhythm, moving from one class to the next with their bags of books. We have a small area where the younger children play during their lunch break. You can hear their laughter from the street. It’s a very local feel here. Most of the students live within walking distance or a short rickshaw ride away. We just focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids understand what they are reading. It is a quiet, hardworking place for everyone who comes here.
