We have been based out here on Kanakapura Main Road for quite some time now. Our yard is located specifically at Thalagattapura Village, over at Survey Number 39/2 b and 41/5. It is a busy spot where you can always hear the sound of the mixers and the heavy trucks moving in and out. Dealing with concrete is a messy business, and our place reflects that. There is usually a bit of dust in the air and piles of gravel around the yard. Most of the people working here are locals who know the area well. We start our day very early, often before the sun is fully up, to get the loads ready for the morning shift. The office is just a small room where we keep the logs and handle the phone calls. It is nothing fancy, just a practical space to get things organized. We see a lot of the new construction happening along this road, and we are just one part of that whole process. The traffic on Kanakapura road can be a real headache sometimes, but we manage to keep our schedule moving. We do not have a big team, just enough guys to keep the concrete flowing and the trucks maintained. It is hard work and the days are long, especially when it rains or gets too hot. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to keep things simple and honest for everyone involved in our local building projects.
