Himani Traders

Our shop is No. 695 on Kothanur Main Road, right in the RBI East Layout of J.P. Nagar, Phase 7. We have been running this trading business from this same spot for quite a few years now. It’s a small shop and it often feels even smaller when we get a large delivery of stock. There are boxes everywhere and we sometimes have to move things around just to let a customer stand inside. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass displays. It’s just a practical place where we keep our goods. The traffic on Kothanur Main Road has become quite heavy recently, so it’s always noisy outside with horns and engines. We are just a few people working here. We don't have a big system or a computerised warehouse. We know where everything is because we put it there ourselves on the shelves. We recognize most of the people who walk past our door. J.P. Nagar is a nice place to be, and we like being part of the local market. We don't do any big promotions or put out flyers. If people need what we have, they come in and ask. We try to be fair and honest with everyone. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk to the neighbors. Other days we are on our feet until late. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of business. We just keep things moving and hope the next shipment arrives on time so we can stay busy.
