High On Thai

We opened up High On Thai a while back here in Indira Nagar, right by the Gujarat Housing Board at number 276. It’s not a huge place, just a simple kitchen where we try to get those Thai flavors right without making things too complicated. Some days the lemongrass smell hits you the moment you walk through the door, which I always liked. The neighborhood is mostly quiet residential folks, so we see a lot of the same faces coming in for dinner. We don’t really do fancy plating or anything like that. It is more about getting the food onto the plate hot. The seating is a bit tight when it gets busy on Friday nights, but people don’t seem to mind much. I spend most of my time checking on the supplies or helping out the cooks when the orders pile up. We’ve had some of the same staff for a few years now, so we all know how things work. There isn’t a big corporate office or anything behind us, just a small team trying to keep the stoves going. Sometimes the delivery guys are waiting right outside the door, making the entrance a bit crowded. It’s a bit messy but that’s how a real kitchen looks. We just keep doing what we do every day at this spot. If you’re walking past the housing board, you’ll probably see the sign. It's just a regular local business trying to stay busy, mostly for the people around here.
