Heidelbergcement (India) Ltd

You can find us over at 74 Cunningham Road, up on the 7th floor of the Cunningham Apartment building. It’s a bit of a specific spot, especially being near Nibm Road too. Dealing with cement and building materials like we do at Heidelbergcement (India) Ltd means there is always a lot of coordination going on. Our office isn't one of those super modern places you see in magazines; it’s just a functional space where we handle the orders and talk to the guys on the sites. There are usually blueprints or site photos pinned up somewhere, and the desks are often covered in spreadsheets. The view from the 7th floor is okay, but we spend most of our time looking at our screens or talking on the phone with suppliers. Cement is a basic thing, but it’s needed for everything being built around here, so we stay pretty busy. We don't really go in for big speeches about what we do. We just make sure the trucks are scheduled and the supply is steady. Some days the elevators in the building are slow, which is annoying when you're in a hurry, but that’s just part of working in an older apartment-style office block. It gets a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once, but it’s a good kind of busy. We’ve been around this part of Cunningham Road for a while and just focus on doing our jobs without much fuss.
