Haroon Bricks

Our place is over at 584/78 in Adugodi. It is just a basic yard where we keep our supply. There is nothing special about the building itself. Most days, you will find a couple of us standing around the stacks of bricks or talking to the truck drivers. The area around Adugodi can get a bit crowded, especially when the big lorries are trying to turn into the narrow lanes. We have a lot of dust flying around when the wind picks up. That is just part of the job when you deal with bricks all day long. We started doing this because we knew the area well. The bricks are piled up high, and we try to keep them organized, but sometimes things get a bit jumbled. It is not a corporate setup with meetings and fancy titles. We just show up, count the stock, and wait for orders. Some of the neighbors have known us for years. We handle the bricks by hand mostly, so our clothes are always stained with that orange-red color. It is hard on the back, but it is what we do. When the weather is good, we can get a lot done. If it rains, we mostly just sit in the small shed and wait for it to clear up. We don't do much advertising. People find us because they live nearby or someone told them we were here at this address. We are just here doing the work.
