Hard Rock Cafe

We have been running things here at No 40 in the Bible Society Building on St Marks Road for a good while now. Most people in Bangalore know the spot because it is right opposite the LIC building. It is an old stone place that has a lot of character, though it can be a bit of a pain to maintain sometimes. We spend our days making sure the burgers are hot and the music is playing loud enough for everyone to hear. The walls are covered in all kinds of guitars and old memorabilia, which is cool to look at, but mostly we are just a place where you can come and hang out after work. The traffic on St Marks Road gets pretty bad in the evenings, so we see a lot of people ducking in to wait it out with a drink. Our staff are just regular folks who like good music and work hard to keep the orders moving. It gets really busy on the weekends and sometimes things feel a bit chaotic, but we manage to get through it. We do not try to be anything too fancy or corporate. It is just a big old building filled with food and songs. We deal with the usual kitchen stress and crowded floors like any other business in this city. If you are walking past the LIC building, you will see us there. It is just how we do things every day.
