Hanumanth Contractor is based at 14 Binnamangala. This isn't a corporate office with a receptionist. It’s more of a place where we keep our tools and meet up before heading out to a job site. We’ve worked on a lot of houses and small buildings around this area. If you look at the walls or the plumbing in some of the older places in Binnamangala, there’s a good chance we had a hand in it. We do the kind of work that involves getting your hands dirty. It’s about fixing things, building walls, or painting rooms. Sometimes we take on bigger projects, but we like the small local jobs too because we don’t have to travel far. I started doing this work years ago, and I just sort of stayed with it because it felt right. We don't have a website or anything like that. People usually just get our number from someone else we worked for. At 14 Binnamangala, there’s usually a pile of sand or some bricks lying around, which tells you exactly what we do. The work is hard on the back and the knees, but it’s honest. We try to finish what we start, even when things go wrong with the materials or the weather. It’s just about showing up and doing the job as best as we can with what we have. We aren't fancy, just people who know how to build and fix things for the neighbors.
