G Basheer & Sons

If you walk down Old Chamrajpet Road, you’ll find us at number 20. We are right on Oosman Khan Road, directly opposite the Vijaya Bank, so that’s the easiest way to spot where G Basheer & Sons is located. It’s an old part of town, and things have changed a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing what we do. The building is a bit older, and it has that lived-in feel you only get with time. It’s a family-run place, so you’ll usually find one of us hanging around near the front. We don't really go for fancy decorations or big advertisements because people in the neighborhood already know where to find us. The morning starts with opening up the shutters and getting the dust off the counters. It’s a steady pace most days. Being across from the bank means there’s always people walking past, and we recognize a lot of the faces. It’s not a quiet street by any means, but we like the energy of the market area. We handle the business side of things in the back office while keeping an eye on the street. It’s just a simple setup where we work together and try to keep things organized. No big meetings or complicated plans, just regular work. We’ve been part of this street for a long time and plan to stay a while longer. The routine keeps us going and we know every corner of this building by heart.
