Being in Koramangala is usually about the cafes and the tech offices, but over here at Niyoshi Park in Sanghavi Nagar, it is a bit different. Rk Crane Servicing is where we deal with the heavy stuff. It is a lot of mechanical work and the smell of oil is pretty much part of the furniture now. We have our setup at 135 and it is a place where we spend most of our daylight hours. The cranes need a lot of looking after and there is always something that needs a bit of grease or a part replaced. It is not the cleanest job in the world but it is what we do. The area around Sanghavi Nagar is a bit tucked away from the main Koramangala madness but it still gets plenty of visitors. We have some good space here to move things around. Most days you will find someone under a machine or talking on the phone about a site visit. It is practical work, really. We do not have a big fancy lobby or anything like that because most of the action happens in the back or out on a job site. The weather in Bangalore is okay but when it rains, we have to move things fast. We just keep our heads down and handle the equipment as it comes. It is a steady pace and we have got used to the sound of metal and engines over the years.
