Hair Cafe Men

Hair Cafe Men is located at 100/9 on the Nagawara Main Road in Venkateshapuram. We are right across the street from the Bilal Masjid, which is a very prominent building in this area. Being on the main road means there is always a lot of noise and activity outside our front door. You can hear the traffic and the voices of people going to the mosque throughout the day. The shop itself is a modest place. We have the standard barber chairs and a few shelves for our combs and powders. It is not a cafe in the sense that we serve food, it's just the name we have on the board. We are a plain barber shop through and through. The floor is usually covered in hair until we get a chance to sweep it up between customers. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just the open door and the fans. It gets quite warm in the middle of the day, but that is just how Bangalore is. Most of the people who come in live right here in Venkateshapuram. We know their families and what they do for work. It is a community shop. If you are near the masjid and need a haircut, you can just cross the road and find us. We don't require appointments or anything like that, just walk in and wait for a chair to open up.
