H A L & Co

Our office is over in Vimanapura Village, near the post office. It’s on Plot No. 335/7. Being in Bangalore North, we see a lot of change happening around us all the time, but this little corner stays pretty much the same. H A L & Co is just a small setup where we handle paperwork and accounts for people. It’s not a fancy glass building like the ones you see in the tech parks. We have old wooden desks and cabinets full of files that have been here for years. The ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high, but we’ve gotten used to it. Most people come to us because they want someone who will actually listen to their problems instead of just giving them a computer printout. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting across from clients with a cup of tea. It’s a lot of numbers and dates, which can be tiring, but it’s important to get it right. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the gate. Sometimes it’s hard to find us if you’re new to the area. We’ve been here long enough that the postman knows us well. It’s a quiet place to work. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work on the books until it’s time to go home. It's a decent living and helps the people around here keep their affairs in order.
