G.V.K. High School

G.V.K. High School is tucked away in the 2nd Block of Jayanagar. Our address is No.248/17, on the 6th Cross, 9th Main. It is a nice enough part of town, with some trees lining the streets nearby. The school itself is a practical building. We do not have a grand entrance or anything like that. You just walk in and you are right there in the middle of things. We have high school students here, so there is always a bit of stress about exams and marks. We try to keep things calm, but it is not always possible when the pressure is on. The classrooms are filled with students who have known each other for years. We have a small staff room where we sit and drink tea when we have a few minutes between classes. Most of our furniture is a bit mismatched because we have added things as we needed them over time. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the neighbors going about their business while we are teaching. It is a very local feel. We do not use a lot of fancy teaching methods. We stick to the books and the blackboard. It is a bit old-school, but it works for us and the families who send their children here. We are just a group of people working together to keep the school running as smoothly as possible every day.
