Gurukulam School

Our school is over in SS Layout, specifically at number 79 on the 2nd Main Road. It’s a nice enough residential area, so we don't have the heavy truck traffic you get on the main highways. Gurukulam School is a local spot for the families living around here. The building fits right in with the houses on the street. We have a couple of floors and the rooms are just the right size for a small group of students. It’s not a massive institution with thousands of people. It’s much more manageable than that. We have a few trees near the entrance which help with the shade. The gate is usually open in the morning and then we shut it once everyone is inside. We spend the day going through the lessons. It’s a pretty quiet environment most of the time, except for when it's time for the kids to go out and play. Then you can hear them all the way down the block. We don’t have any fancy marketing brochures or anything. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. We just try to provide a regular place for kids to get their education without any extra fuss or bother. It's just a school on a regular street. The stairs are a bit narrow, so we have to tell the kids to be careful when they go up and down.
