Gupta Builders & Hardware is right in the heart of Shivaji Nagar. We are across from the Jain Mandir. If you know where the Banarasi Hotel is, then we are right there next to it. It is a very busy part of the city near Commercial Street. There is always a lot of noise and people moving about. We sell all kinds of hardware stuff. Tools, nails, pipes, and various building materials. The shop is 17/18. It is usually packed with boxes and crates piled high. Sometimes it is a bit hard to find things quickly but we know where everything is hidden away. It has been a family business for a very long time now. We do not do any fancy marketing or social media stuff. People come here because they need a specific screw or a bag of cement for a quick repair. We give them what they need and they go on their way. It is simple. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to help local people fix up their houses. The shop gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun is out. We have a small television in the corner that is usually playing the news or a match. Shivaji Nagar is a tough place to park a car. Most people walk or come by bike. We know the other shopkeepers around here. It is a good community.
