You can find Grace Beauty Saloon at No.161 in Mrs Palya. We are right near the Mariyamma Temple, which is in the Benson Town Post area of Bangalore. Being so close to the temple means we get to see all the festivals and processions that happen throughout the year. The shop is just a small room where we help the local ladies with their beauty needs. We do things like cutting hair, doing eyebrows, and basic skin care. It is a quiet place compared to the main roads of Bangalore. Most of the women who come here live in the surrounding streets and we have known them for years. It is more like a small community gathering than a business sometimes. We have a few chairs and the basic equipment needed for the work. I don't use big words or pretend we are a high-end spa. We are just a local saloon helping our neighbors look their best for weddings or just for their daily lives. The weather in Benson Town is usually nice, so we keep the door open to let the breeze in. We start our day after the morning temple prayers are done. It is a simple routine that we follow six days a week. We don't have a big sign or any bright lights, just a small place that serves the people of Mrs Palya. It is honest work and we are happy to be here in this neighborhood.
