Goodrich Aerospace

Our facility is located in Bangalore, right near the Canara Bank in the 560 068 area. It’s a busy part of the city with a lot of industrial activity going on at all hours. We work on parts for planes and things that fly. It sounds very technical, and it is, but our day-to-day is just a lot of careful work and checking things over twice. The building is a bit grey and doesn't stand out much from the other workshops on the street. Inside, it’s mostly tools and benches where we put things together. We have to be very precise with our measurements, so it’s usually pretty quiet while people are working. We aren't a typical corporate office with fancy carpets or art. It’s more of a workshop feel. Bangalore traffic is always a mess, so we all try to get in early to beat the rush on the roads. Some of us have been here since the place first opened. We talk about the weather and the local news while we have our lunch together. It’s a good group of people who know their trade well. We don't go around bragging about what we make or who we work for. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure every part is done right. It’s a steady job in a very busy city.
