You can find us over at No.20-21 on Sheshadri Road. We are right next to the Turf Club and pretty close to Anand Rao Circle. It’s a spot that sees a lot of traffic throughout the day. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time. It’s not a fancy setup. We have a large kitchen area where we do all the prep work. There are stacks of plates and crates of glasses everywhere you look. When a big order comes in, the whole place turns into a bit of a whirlwind. We load up the vans with hot containers and try to get through the traffic around the circle. It’s never easy moving food in this part of the city. We do a lot of washing up after the events are over. The sound of clinking silverware is something you just get used to. We don't spend money on fancy decorations for the office. We'd rather just keep the stoves running well. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the cooking. Most of the people working here have been around Sheshadri Road their whole lives. We know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the jams near the Turf Club. It’s hard work and your back usually hurts by the end of a shift. We just keep at it day after day because it’s what we know how to do. It's a living.
