Golden Hygienic Salon

Our shop is on Mysore road, right at 86/1 in Chamarajpet. If you are looking for us, we are directly opposite the police quarters, which makes it easy for people to find. Chamarajpet is a busy area and the road is always full of cars and buses going past. We spend a lot of time keeping the place tidy because the dust from the main road always tries to get in. It is called Golden Hygienic Salon because we try to keep things clean for everyone who sits in our chairs. We get a mix of people, some workers from the shops nearby and sometimes the officers from across the road come over. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. There are just the chairs, the mirrors, and the tools we use every day. Living and working in Bangalore means you get used to the noise of the traffic outside. It becomes like background music after a while. We open up in the morning and stay until late evening most days. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door. Some people want a quick shave while others are here for a full haircut. We just take it one person at a time and try to do an honest job. It is a good neighborhood to be in and we have been here for a long time. We mostly just focus on giving a decent cut and making sure people feel okay.
